TWO SEVENTH PLACE FINISHES FOR MILROY
Saturday night Madera Speedway hosted the rescheduled
rained out Fred Gerhardt Classic event and the USAC
NorCal Ignite series featured twin 30 lap main events.
The division brought in many drivers from all over the
United States, Georgia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New
Jersey, Texas, Arizona, Ohio and California and was sure
to put on a great show for the fans.
Indianapolis driver, DJ Hamilton was fast out of the box heading
into Saturday's events posting fast laps in both practice sessions.
West Sacramento driver Garrett Peterson was able to edge out
Hamilton in qualifying with a fast time of 14.477 seconds as well as
setting a new track record for Madera Speedway. Followed by Ricky
Bowers, DJ Hamilton, Tyler Edwards and Sheldon Didinger the fast
five Collin Milroy nineth. No heat races or trophy dashes were
scheduled for the division as the drivers headed right into the
